This is the Holiday Inn Express travertine Lobby before grinding honing and polishing. It had massive toe-kicker lippage This is the Lobby of the Holiday Inn Express in San Diego's Mission Valley. This is after full resurfacing and restoration. Which included grinding the lippage, sanding and re-honing with diamond grits 50 through 800, or so, and then polishing with diamond powder, marble polish and sealer. We crystalized the floor for hardness, slip resistance and durability

BEWARE! Stanley Steamer and others learned the hard way that Carpet Cleaners ruin travertine and limestone. They no longer do stone. Do not use Steam to clean your stone, it will ruin it. It will cause pits to pop out and grout to crack. Worst of all, it dulls the shine very badly. Use steam on your glass tiles and watch them fly off before your eyes
